Markets
Explanation
ToolsMarkets is a clean price chart for any asset, crypto or traditional. Pick a ticker from the dropdown and see its full history on a logarithmic scale, with nothing layered on top — no risk bands, no heat colouring, just price. The asset box searches the full top-coins list plus stocks, ETFs, indices and commodities, so the same view works for Bitcoin, the S&P 500, or the long tail alike; use the Timeframe selector (Daily through Monthly) to set the resolution, and drag or scroll to zoom across history. This is a reference view of past prices; it describes what has happened, not what will.
Switch to a Weekly or Monthly timeframe to smooth out the day-to-day noise and see the shape of the larger trend, then step back to Daily to study a recent move up close.
Methodology note: Crypto prices come live from CoinGecko. Stocks, ETFs, indices and commodities are backfilled and appended daily from Marketstack into our own database, so both asset families load the same way in the same chart. A log scale is used throughout: crypto assets in particular can travel across several orders of magnitude over their lifetime, and on a linear scale the early years flatten into a line along the bottom, losing the detail. Log keeps every era readable and makes trends and past cycles comparable across time.
