Pattern Analyzer
Explanation
ToolsThe Pattern Analyzer measures how closely the current price pattern resembles stretches of past history, scoring each match from 0-100 by blending day-to-day direction (Pearson correlation, a statistical similarity measure) with overall shape. Matching periods appear as ghost overlays showing what price did next, and the blue projection cone ahead is a sample of those historical outcomes, not a probability forecast. Scores above 90 indicate a strong historical precedent, and several ghosts agreeing is a stronger signal than one on its own. The walk-forward backtest did not show a meaningful directional edge at the 90-day horizon, so treat matches as context rather than a forecast.
Higher similarity means a more relevant analog, but history still rhymes rather than repeats.
Searches an asset’s history for windows that moved like today, scores the match, and projects what happened next.
